Odyssey is manufactured by Enersys, a world leader in lead acid battery technology. Manufactured using advanced AGM technology and pure lead design, the Odyssey battery features superior cranking abilities and very fast recharge acceptance due to its very low internal resistance design. This allows the battery to outperform in starting current compared to all similarly sized wet cell batteries and most other dry cell designs. Built to military grade specifications, they offer superior vibration resistance and exceptional tolerance from mechanical abuse. Along with the high output current design, Odyssey are able to withstand multiple discharge/recharge cycles so long as correct recharge methods are followed and recharging immediately follows the discharge cycle. This makes the battery a true all-rounder - 2 separate battery types in 1. Due to their sealed design, Odyssey provides amazing mounting flexibility, being able to be installed in any orientation except inverted, without capacity sacrifice.
